Finger 11
Canadian band Finger Eleven make solid post-grunge pop music with all of the requisite elements, such as distorted guitars, a vaguely hip-hop drum feel, and the dreaded loud/soft dynamic move. But they've got a few tricks up their sleeves, like memorable hooky tunes, and the singer's seemingly effortless falsetto; putting them ahead of the pack in the pop music steeplechase.

I was really looking forward to this month's gig, but then we had a visit from Hurricane Gustaf and Ike and sort of knock the breath out of me dealing with them for the past few weeks.
