Tripped over LFDH one night while watching Palladia. Completely impressed with the informal feel of the show, yet a professional quality to the music. Great music you just don't hear much of anymore. What a great watch! Especially loved "Rich Girl" on this episode. Never thought that Rap/Hip could augment such great music as that of H&O.

Wow, reggae, rap, soul, funk and rock wrapped up in one great song. Daryl certainly has his finger on the pulse of the industry. I'd have never known half of the artists had I not found this smashing website. I wish some of he first episodes could be reformatted to play on the iPad.

The Dirty Heads
The Huntington Beach, CA , band combine reggae, ska, alternative rock and a dash of hip-hop with a sunny SoCal swagger. The band’s debut album, Any Port in a Storm, proved a surprise hit, with songs like “Lay Me Down,” which dominated the Billboard Alternative chart and was certified gold. Rolling Stone called them “one of the year’s best new bands of 2010.” Their sophomore album, Cabin by the Sea, comes out June 19. Produced by Mario C, was recorded at Sonic Ranch Studios in Texas and features collaborations with Matisyahu, Del the Funky Homosapien , Ky-Mani Marley and Rome . The first single, “Spread Too Thin,” is already gaining airplay. See the video here.
