hi all, taking downtime to find work by the artists that make up the LFDH band. I downloaded Charles DeChant's CD, The Moon at Noon. Great jazz. Recommend cuts Solstice and Lizard Buffet to jazz lovers

sure am missing the monthly LFDH shows, but I continue to re-visit past shows and enjoy them immensely . . . for those who are upset that many past episodes are no longer available in the archives, I've found that with a little searching, most of the music from those shows can be found on youtube . . . can't always find the banter between numbers, but at least most of the music from artists like Jose Feliciano, the Doors, Company of Thieves, Dave Stewart, etc. are still there for viewing if you dig just a bit . . . sure hope the hiatus isn't something permanent, and that LFDH will soon begin taping new episodes . . . it's by far the best entertainment on the net, imho . . .

Im very excited to read that Daryl will be doing a home restoration show. Im just hoping it will be on a tv station that's doesn't air at 3am or I cant get here. I also read that Daryl has been investing over 14k per episode out of his own pocket LFDH. I for one would certainly be willing to pay a yearly fee just to keep my LFDH. I really do appreciate and enjoy these shows.

Really blew my mind, the band was so tight, incredible. I'll cut your grass if I could listen through the windows.

Minus The Bear
Since forming in Seattle back in 2001, Minus the Bear have released five albums and four EPs. Aside from Snider and Rose, the fivesome includes guitarist Dave Knudson, bassist Cory Murchy and drummer Erin Tate. Their sound has been described as guitar acrobatics and electronics with sophisticated time signature compositions and infectious melodies.

Their Dangerbird debut, Omni, debuted in the Billboard Top 50 and over the last 12 years, the band has played countless sold-out venues throughout the world, including North America, Europe, U.K., Japan and Australia, in addition to high-profile U.S. festival like Bonnaroo, Coachella, Lollapalooza and Sasquatch!. It is a testament to the bands DIY beginnings, impressive relationship with their fans and inventive music that they remain a beloved group with an unyielding fan base that continues to grow with each album. The groups Snider tells Daryl they got their name from a friend, who described a date as like BJ and the Bear minus the bear.
